Not regret. Not self‑blame. Just the architecture of choice.
Would — the instinct, the pull, the version of me that moved first. Could — the capacity, the ability, the door that was technically open. Should — the rule that never belonged to me, the expectation written by someone else, the word that carried weight I didn’t owe.
I — the person navigating those three verbs without a map.
Me — learning new skills that help, not mastering every one, every time, because I’m not linear and I don’t need to be.
Why — because growing up meant unpicking the grammar of obligation and choosing which words I keep.
