Diary Entry — “Today Is Not a Good Day”
Today is not a good day. By 10:31 I’d already bashed my elbow three times, walked straight into my desk, and caught the door handle with my arm hard enough that I know a bruise is coming. My hip is already marked. My phone keeps slipping out of my hands like my grip isn’t connected to my brain.
There’s a constant sick feeling rolling through me — that progesterone surge I know too well, the one that mimics morning sickness and comes and goes without warning.
Every time I hit a body part, the rage is instant. Not dramatic, not performative — just a flash so sharp I could rip the mirror off the wall or pull the door off its hinges. I don’t, because I know I’d hurt myself, but the impulse is there. Fast. Hot. Unfair.
Today is not a good day.
