LET THEM EAT CAKE
Mini blasts of truth from a brain that refuses to be governed.
Mini Manifesto 2 — The Rebellious Maximalist
I refuse to be tidy, palatable, or predictable.
Menopause exposed my architecture.
I dropped sugar spikes, alcohol fog,
and every chemically hijacked decision.
I choose with a compass mind now —
sharp, deliberate, ungovernable.
I am the architect of my brain.
I am the fire in my story.
(Clarity is still subject to progesterone fluctuations — it comes, it goes, but even the fog can’t unteach me what I now know.)
About the Author
Alison is a menopausal, neurodiverse maximalist documenting the chaos of hormones with clarity, humour, and zero shrinking. She writes what her brain feels — unfiltered, ungovernable, and defiantly alive.
