If the narrative is always negative

 


If the narrative is always negative, something has to change. No matter how much you try to fix things or help, you can only change yourself.


There’s an old saying: you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.


And it’s true. You can change things, try things, adjust things — but if you’re constantly met with negativity, you can’t change the other person. You can only change you.

  An electric toothbrush— love and hate. 27TH NOVEMBER   I love my toothbrush, the circular motion, up and down, round and round.   Is it because I’m left-handed, or right-handed? I put it to the left, look in the mirror, rub my gum more than my tooth. One side sore, one side unclean. I loathe toothpaste. I hate it. I hate this smile. I hate the taste.
